KEYENCE, a leader in the industrial automation industry, provides solutions on a global scale, including laser markers. Now, thanks to our collaboration with KEYENCE within PDAgroup, we are excited to present these modern marking tools. Our team of specialists is ready to help with every step of the process - from purchase and testing to implementation and maintenance.
Precision at the highest level
KEYENCE laser marking machines are devices characterized by perfect operating precision. And this is for several reasons. The devices are equipped with built-in sensors that enable automatic focusing. This eliminates errors associated with manual focusing, which can be difficult and time-consuming. Additionally, the built-in distance sensor allows to precisely determine the distance to the surface of marked items. In turn, the built-in vision system, i.e. the camera inside the head, automatically identifies the shape of the target element. This allows the laser marker to adjust the X, Y and theta shifts to ensure accurate and precise positioning of marking
Durability and resistance
Markings made with laser markers are renowned for their long life and resistance. And undoubtedly, they are much more durable than standard labels
Abrasion and Washing Resistance: Laser markings are made by removing or otherwise altering the top layer of material on the surface of an object. This means that markings are often much more resistant to abrasion and wash-off than printed or glued markings, which can be easily damaged by friction or other environmental exposure.
Weather resistance: Laser markings are durable and resistant to weather conditions such as moisture, UV radiation, rain and extreme temperatures. This means they are suitable for items with outdoor applications and exposed harsh environmental conditions.
No Maintenance Required: Laser markings do not require further maintenance throught repainting, coating or other protective measures that may be necessary with other marking methods. This mitigates the costs and difficulties associated with regular marking maintenance work.
Versatility of applications
KEYENCE laser markers and marking machines are advanced tools that will be used in various industries and fields where precise marking is necessary. They are suitable for marking metals, plastics and wooden surfaces.
They can be used to apply various markings to products, such as:
- Text
- Barcodes
- 2D Codes
- Logos and images
Manufacturing: Laser markers can be used to permanently mark parts in the manufacturing process, helping with quality control and product traceability.
Automotive industry: In the automotive industry, laser marking can be used to etch serial numbers, production dates, barcodes or other information on car parts.
Electronics: In electronics manufacturing, a laser marker can be used to mark printed circuit boards, electronic component housings, or other small parts.
Medicine: In the medical industry, laser marking can help identification and tracking of medical instruments, devices and implants.
Metalworking industry: A laser marker can be used to mark and identify metal stock and tools.
Food industry: In food production for marking packaging, expiration dates and other important information.
Pharmaceutical industry: In pharma manufacturing for marking packaging and products.
Cosmetic industry: In cosmetics production, a laser marker can help mark packaging, including batch numbers or other information.
Construction materials industry: In the production of construction materials, laser markings can be used to mark bricks, boards, piping and other items.
